The second workshop in our series for the Female Coach Development Group delivered by Women & Girls Coach Developer (North East) Emily Senior. This workshop will provide attendees with the opportunity to develop their observation skills at a FA National League Division One North fixture between Huddersfield Town and Leeds United. An introduction to Spiritualistic and Ritual Abuse (SARA) including signs and indicators. - Case studies of SARA incidents - Emerging trends relating to SARA and what maybe the tell-tale signs - Guidance for professionals on engaging victims of SARA and challenging the abusive behaviours Link to the course will be sent out the week before.

The PCH Safeguarding Team have scheduled a homelessness and safeguarding webinar to take place in January. We would be grateful if you would publicise this event through your networks/bulletins. Wednesday 15 January 2025 - 2-4pm – Homelessness & Safeguarding: updates, learning and current issues The aims of the event are to provide learning from the 2nd National Analysis of Safeguarding Adult Reviews and reviews of deaths of homeless peoples; updates on critical issues and responses to support people with no recourse to public funds and people living in vehicles; insights from current research; and consider strategic responses to safeguarding challenges.
