Bring your boots to get closer to the action. The Female Coach Development Group is open to any female coach wherever you are on your coaching journey. It is a friendly and fun group that aims to support one another to improve their coaching skills for the players they coach. This is an open group that welcomes new members of any coaching experience to join. Expected Schedule (TBC) 9.00 Arrival 9.15 start presentation about the development phase and explain observation tasks 10.15pm Go find place t stand refreshments 10.30 kick off 11.15 Come back together at half time to reflect on first half. 11.30 second half 12.15 come back at fulltime for final reflections and next steps/feedback (I can deliver this to say further development opportunities) Bradford City AFC Academy are welcoming us into their PDP phase to watch a match and see how their coaches conduct themselves and interact with players. It is a great chance to ask your coaching questions about this important final phase in the academy system. This Pro Series will show the overarching philosophy throughout the academy and how this is implemented at each age group. Showing age appropriate sessions to the coaches to reflect and compare between academy and grassroots. It's a chance to inspire aspiring coaches as well as showcase positive coach behaviour and practices in an elite environment. You will see first hand how the sessions are delivered, the coaching behaviours and the over-aching philosophy of the academy as well as a review of what these players experienced in the foundation phase and how they will build on this in the PDP Phase. Please wrap up appropriately as a large portion of the event will be outside observing the match. Pre booking is essential.
